Hello, I am Juan and welcome to my website.
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a private practice in London: in-person (NW2/NW6) and online (zoom).
You might be visiting this page because you are interested in therapy for yourself or someone you care for. By scrolling down, you can read more about therapy, my approach and experience, as well as my fees.
If you would like to make an inquiry, you are welcome to use my contact details below.
If you feel lost or unsure; if you are confused about your own or someone else’s behaviour; if you experience unsettling symptoms, feelings, sleep, dreams or nightmares; if you feel stuck or out of control; beginning to share and acknowledge your thoughts and feelings in therapy might help you towards a better future. Insight gained in therapy can be significantly helpful.
Therapy is a once, sometimes twice, weekly day and time dedicated to you. You may have specific issues to focus on. Or, you might want to explore yourself in a wider sense. As therapy is a place where you can start to be more seen and heard (and less hidden), it can be both daunting and liberating. By staying with whatever emerges, change can occur.
You are welcome in your individuality. This includes your individual: gender, sexuality, sexual preferences, race, ethnicity, cultural heritage, social class, religion, spirituality, physical or mental health diagnosis and any disability. Therapy can be understood as a process of discovering your uniqueness, towards a more secure and holistic sense of yourself.
I am a warm, empathic and open-minded therapist. My integrative training means I consider more than one approach to inform therapeutic thinking and I find Psychodynamic, Jungian and Transpersonal psychology most helpful. I will take an honest, dignified and respectful attitude towards you.
I have completed a Diploma in Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy, at Re-vision: Centre for Integrative Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a result, I am a registered member of the UKCP and BACP and adhere to their Ethical Frameworks and professional standards.
I have worked with teens, young people and people in mid/later life phases, in various organisational settings such as ELOP, Re-vision’s Low Cost Counselling Service, Bridge: A Future in Focus and Child in Time. I am experienced working with a range of issues across the spectrums of human experience.
Fees for the initial and ongoing sessions are charged at £60.
All missed sessions are charged. Where necessary, sessions can be rearranged with advanced notice.
